Accounting Support Clerk
- Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a forward-thinking, Native American-owned multi-disciplinary consulting firm? Akana is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Support Clerk, reporting to our Portland, OR office.
The Minimum Required Key Qualifications for this position are shown below:
- Entry Level, minimum 1 year of comparable work experience or 2 years of accounting classes at university level
- Familiarity with accounting programs and software
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented
What You’ll Do:
- Support accounts payables with expense report entry and receipts
- Support accounts receivables with reviewing project setups, invoicing requirements,
billing rates and invoice formats; support accounts receivables with preparation of client
statements - Support project, vendor and client data entry and maintenance in accounting software
- Provide accurate and effective data entry, document preparation and records
management relative to the department in accordance with records retention policies
and procedures - Other general accounting tasks assigned by Accounting Manager
