Project Coordinator
Akana, a Native American-owned multi-discipline consulting firm with a diverse portfolio of clients and projects throughout the United States, is seeking to add a Project Coordinator to our firm.

Qualifications:
The minimum required qualifications for this position are shown below:
- High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
- A minimum of two years project coordination and/or administrative experience is preferred; strongly prefer experience working in the A/C/E industry
In addition to the required qualifications the following skills are preferable:
- A/C/E Project/team support experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience using Ajera/Deltek Systems; preferred
- Must be able to work independently, particularly during deadlines and be proactive to meet project needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent scheduling skills
- Proficiency in juggling multiple project deadlines is required
General Responsibilities are:
- Provide support to Project Managers with project administration
- Assist Project Managers with RFPs, contracts, proposal fees, market research, accounting, and prepare project schedules
- Process and review project submittals appropriate
- Maintain project tracking database and uploading project documentation
- Provide research support to Principals and Project Managers
- Track, prioritize and manage project related issues
- Record Project Meeting Minutes
- Project Document Control including filing and archiving
- Assist Project Managers and Accounting Department with incoming and outgoing invoicing review, status reports to clients, and internal financial reporting.
