Kuckup Housing and Utilities – Phase 1 & 2

The Warm Springs Housing Authority initiated a subdivision project to expand housing opportunities on the reservation. The development was designed to provide 16 single-family home sites equipped with essential infrastructure, ensuring long-term community growth and connectivity.

Akana led the design effort, delivering a comprehensive plan that included water and sewer services, as well as power and fiber utilities to support modern living standards. A roadway loop was incorporated to connect the subdivision with existing and future housing developments, creating a cohesive neighborhood layout.

This project required close collaboration with the Housing Authority to navigate challenges posed by the COVID-19 quarantine on the reservation. Through careful coordination and technical expertise, Akana ensured the project met all requirements while maintaining progress under unprecedented conditions.
