About Charlie

Charlie Swift is a Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years of experience specializing in environmental project management and remediation systems. He leads projects that evaluate, design, and implement treatment solutions for industrial waste in air, soil, and groundwater. Charlie manages environmental cleanup efforts across the western United States, Alaska, and Canada, focusing on petroleum and chlorinated hydrocarbon impacts.

He works closely with public agencies including the EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense, as well as state and local regulators. Charlie’s expertise includes in-situ remediation technologies such as multi-phase extraction, air sparging, chemical oxidation, and enhanced bioremediation. He has permitted site cleanups and prepared corrective action plans, feasibility studies, and interim action plans in multiple states. Recognized for his innovation, Charlie designs and manufactures portable vapor recovery and groundwater treatment systems for both pilot studies and long-term remediation.
