Terry Hosaka, PMP

With over 30 years of experience in environmental remediation, hazardous waste investigation, and regulatory compliance, Terry brings a rare blend of technical expertise and business strategy. A trained chemist and certified project management professional, Terry has worked across the environmental field—from laboratory analysis and regulatory oversight to project management and grant-funded site redevelopment. Terry leads all Business Development efforts across provided services group at Akana. His technical background provides insight into project deliverables.

Terry’s background includes extensive work in environmental consulting and brownfield redevelopment projects as well as hazardous and radiological substance testing. His experience was gained through years of leading analytical teams in both commercial and federal lab settings. He also served as a project manager and regulator with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), overseeing remediation programs and helping clients navigate complex cleanup efforts.
