Bernie Egan, CPA

Bernie brings more than 30 years of senior financial leadership to Akana, with deep experience across the publishing, construction contracting, and AE (architecture and engineering) industries. Since joining the firm in 2019, Bernie has led the transformation of our financial management systems while improving cash flow and strengthening our financial position through an expanded line of credit.

As CFO, Bernie oversees all aspects of financial planning. When he’s not balancing the books, Bernie brings balance to the office with his unwavering loyalty to the Chicago White Sox, which we won’t hold against him.
