About Fares

Fares is a seasoned civil engineer and development strategist with experience managing complex infrastructure and land development projects across the globe. Serving as Akana’s Vice President of Engineering Services, Fares oversees civil, structural, commissioning, energy, mechanical, and electrical services within municipalities, Tribes, and federal clients. With deep expertise in civil site engineering, mixed-use master planning, and transportation systems design, Fares brings a strategic and solution-oriented approach to every project he brings his senior leadership.

Fares has successfully directed large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial developments for both public and private sector clients, navigating the challenges of infrastructure development and long-term planning. His leadership has been especially impactful on high-profile U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) projects at the Nevada National Security Site, where he has led cross-functional teams in designing complex facilities and infrastructure systems critical to national strategic stockpile stewardship programs.

Known for his energetic leadership style and clear project vision, Fares stays engaged from early planning through construction turnover—ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance goals are met with precision.
