Tamara Schurian, PE

Tamara Schurian is a licensed civil engineer with over two decades of experience in environmental services, civil engineering consulting, and construction quality management. As Akana’s Quality Manager, she provides staff with the training and guidance necessary to make their projects achieve the highest standards for compliance, performance, and reliability—whether it’s infrastructure for public agencies or site development for private-sector clients.

Tamara has worked extensively with federal, state, local, and Tribal governments, as well as commercial developers, utilities, and transportation agencies. Her expertise spans project management, civil and environmental design, QA/QC implementation, and land development oversight.

She brings particular strength to the long-term projects that involve heavy and civil engineering construction. Tamara is known for her attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
