Akana is proud to partner with Benton City to provide comprehensive on-call civil engineering and planning services that enhance infrastructure and improve quality of life. Our work spans utilities, transportation, parks, and community development projects—delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that meet current needs and support sustainable growth.

Akana’s services include utility upgrades such as design and construction management for sewer lift stations, force main extensions, water and sewer generators, and reservoir repair. In transportation, we provide civil design for roadway realignments, paving projects, pedestrian crossings on SR 225, and citywide seal coat programs. For community amenities, our team supports planning and design for Riverfront Park, trail connections, boat launch lighting, and athletic and recreation facilities.

We also deliver environmental and regulatory support through NEPA and SEPA assessments, environmental site evaluations, and grant compliance. Additionally, Akana assists with funding and planning through grant research and management, climate planning, and updates to comprehensive plans and urban growth areas (UGAs).
