Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) Master Services Agreement – Engineering Services

Akana supports Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) through a Blanket Master Agreement that provides a broad range of engineering services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. This agreement plays a critical role in advancing the mission at the Hanford Tank Farms, where Akana has contributed more than $10 million in services since 2009. WRPS issues task orders throughout the life of the contract to address evolving project needs.

Under this agreement, Akana delivers design and engineering support across multiple disciplines, including Electrical and Instrumentation/Controls, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and HVAC systems. Our team also provides evaluations of waste status and activity, construction support, roadway design, and assistance to Operations and Maintenance for assigned processes and tank waste streams. Additional services include inspections and reporting, work planning, and technical document development and review.

Through this long-standing partnership, Akana continues to provide specialized expertise that supports WRPS in safely managing and maintaining critical infrastructure at the Hanford site.
