Metro Regional Center Facility Condition Assessment

Akana performed a comprehensive facility condition assessment for the Metro Regional Center, a 457,944-square-foot property that houses Oregon Metro’s management offices along with a public parking garage, daycare, and café. The assessment was designed to support Metro’s long-term asset management and capital planning goals.

As part of this effort, Akana compiled detailed component data—including value and life cycle information—in an Excel format compatible with Metro’s asset management database. In addition to the data deliverable, Akana prepared a formal report that included forecasts for preventive maintenance and capital improvement expenditures, prioritized deferred maintenance recommendations, and guidance on recurring maintenance activities. This work provided Metro with actionable insights to maintain facility performance and plan for future investments.
