Warriors of Hope Community Center Expansion

Akana is designing an addition to the existing community center to support the Warriors of Hope program, which provides critical services for victims of domestic abuse and their families. The expansion will create approximately 2,500 square feet of dedicated office and support space, enhancing the center’s ability to deliver counseling, advocacy, and family assistance in a safe and welcoming environment.

The proposed facility includes up to five private offices, restrooms, a children’s room, and a group support conference room. Akana’s design approach prioritizes functionality, privacy, and comfort while meeting accessibility and safety standards. The team is working closely with stakeholders to ensure the new space reflects the program’s mission and provides a supportive setting for individuals and families in need.
