ProjectS
Timine Way Multi-Family Housing
Project Details
Akana provided civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, and architectural design for a 30-unit, three-building multi-family housing development. The project included a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, ranging in size from 492 to 1,165 square feet, with ADA-accessible units located on the ground floor.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the development incorporated solar power, daylighting strategies, and indigenous landscaping. The project participated in Energy Trust of Oregon programs to qualify for sustainability incentives, reinforcing its commitment to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
This design-build effort was delivered in collaboration with Chervenell Construction and Cole Architects. Akana’s integrated approach ensured that structural, civil, and architectural elements aligned with project goals for functionality, aesthetics, and long-term performance.
