Ace Westers Environmental Investigation – Tulalip Tribes

Akana conducted an environmental site investigation at a former marina and boat repair facility to assess contamination from historic industrial activities. This work builds on a previous Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and provides critical data to guide future reuse and development planning.

In addition to technical analysis, Akana developed a community outreach plan and facilitated visioning sessions with stakeholders to shape redevelopment opportunities. These efforts ensure that planning aligns with tribal priorities and supports long-term economic and cultural goals.

Through environmental expertise and collaborative engagement, Akana is helping the Tulalip Tribes transform a legacy industrial site into a resource for the community.
